Four-lane rhythm game guide
How to play RockClash
RockClash turns each song into a four-lane rhythm chart. Notes travel toward four color-coded controls; your job is to tap or hold the matching lane close to the intended time. Every run reports score, accuracy, maximum combo and a note-grade breakdown, so improvement is visible rather than subjective.
VERIFIED AGAINST THE CURRENT PRODUCT · UPDATED JULY 16, 2026- Platform
- RockClash is currently available for iPhone.
- Library
- The app includes 50 songs and can also create new playable songs.
- Inputs
- Charts use tap notes and hold notes across four lanes.
- Levels
- Choose easy, normal, hard or expert chart feel.
Read before you react
Watch the approach path instead of staring only at the controls. Reading slightly ahead gives your hands time to prepare for lane changes and hold-note starts.
- Match each note to its colored lane
- Press at the judgment line
- Keep holding until a hold note ends
Finish, inspect, replay
After the song, use the performance screen to separate timing trouble from consistency trouble. A high combo with weaker accuracy suggests early or late hits; many misses indicate a chart-reading problem.
- Check perfect, great, good and miss counts
- Compare accuracy with maximum combo
- Replay the same chart before changing difficulty
